After earning his B.S. from the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University, Michael Garrett launched his career in the construction industry, rising through the ranks as a superintendent, project manager, and eventually vice president at a national construction management firm and specialty contractor. In 1996, with nothing more than a single desk and a vision, Michael founded Pinnacle Construction Group. What began without a single client has grown into one of West Michigan’s most trusted construction and development firms, quietly building a reputation among some of the region’s most respected business leaders. Michael views his employees as an extension of his family, many of whom have been with him since the beginning. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and serving the community. Michael lives in Grand Rapids with his wife, Carolyn, and their three sons.
